According to requirement, we drafted a layout. Wedecided to give contemporary yet traditional look with use of local material.We tried to keep more open space and good circulation space. We made dressing rooms in all rooms, to avoid using too much furniture.We made store room in the kitchen, as per their requirement. To save space in the house, we made puja room in the living room.We usedsome Gujarat depicting shapes in common areas like kitchen and living room, to give the old-style look. We put upGujarati royal family paintings in dining and other areas. We made landscapes in every terrace to give natural feel. Master bed room was quite small, therefore we decided to enclose the balcony in the bed room and make landscape in that area to give large space feeling.
