Chajad House

Chajad House

It is a square shaped north facing plot in Shrirampur covering an area of 10,000 sq.ft. Mr. Chajed is from Rajasthan and thus strictly demanded that every design was according to the Vastu Shastra. It was challenging to design a modern house having privacy along with vastu shastra. We designed square blocks having small windows in east-west side, dead walls in south and large windows in north. We used sky lights, water body and plantation in bed rooms. For division of areas we designed party lawn and garden on the first floor. This work is a combination of natural elements like wood, stone, plant and water.
